#3 SAUSAGE BUN : recipe #1



What's cooking?

Cooking is a science. Cooking is an art. Let me explain why. Since the ancient times, people experiment with new food to produce those scrumptious finger-licking dishes. They used their creativity so that the food looked as good as it tasted.

I am not a chef, but I love cooking. I cook cuisines from different cultures. I modify them and sometimes, I make my own recipes. Cooking is a stress-buster and believe me , once you get hang of it... it's really enjoyable. Here is a recipe that you may try at home...

Savoury sausage bun.....
Ingredients for dough...

2 cups flour
5 g instant yeast
1/2 tsp salt
1 desert spoon oil
enough water to knead the dough ( hot days you need more)

for the filling
sausage-boiled or you can use your own favourite filling...e.g tuna with mayonnaise, curry puff filling , vegetables etc...:)

for coating
milk
Japanese breadcrumbs.

steps:
1) mix the dough ingredients together, knead and leave for at least an hour or until the dough doubles its size.
2) divide the dough into small balls ( to your liking)
3) fill the dough with the sausage
4) dip it in milk and coat with breadcrumbs.
5)leave for 10 minutes.
6) fry/ bake till golden brown
