Holiday is here...Yahoo! Yes !!!The much awaited holiday is here. My amah is on holiday so, I am now the full time house wife. Nevertheless the business of doing the house chores doesn' t stop me from experimenting new recipes. I have in my fridge 3 big packets of chocolate chips I bought from Supa Save, so I am trying out more chocolate chip recipes. Again , this new recipe I obtained from allrecipes.com posted by Kathy Brandt. The texture is more towards brownie , my sis like it but I still prefer the chewy big chocolate chip cookies I baked earlier.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
3/4 brown sugar
1 egg
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
a pinch of salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Directions:
1. Pre heat oven to 175 degrees celsius
2. In a large bowl, beat butter, sugar and egg till light and fluffy. Combine the flour cocoa, baking soda, and salt; stir into the butter mixture until well blended. Mix in the chocolate chips and the walnuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto cookie pans.
3. Bake for 10-15 minutes in the preheated oven, or just unil ste. Cool slightly on the cookie pan before transferring to the wire racks to cool completely.
now...ppl we have another variation of chocolate chip cookies... To all teachers, parents and students.... HAPPY HOLIDAY!!!!
