#43 BANANA BLOSSOMS SALAD: recipe #25

Yesterday I went to the market and managed to buy 2 banana blossoms for a dollar. The usual dish Bruneian cook with this "thingy" would be "masak lemak". However, I am making salad for both of these blossoms. Today I am using one of those, perhaps tomorrow, I will be making another kind of salad with the other.

Ingredients:
1 small banana blossoms, boiled and cut into thin strips
1/2 big red onion
1 chilli, julienned
juice from 5 small lime / limau kesturi
1 tsp sugar
2 dsp fish sauce
to be blended together:
1 clove garlic
1 chili
1 handful washed dry prawns

steps:
Mix the blossoms with all ingedients including the blended items
adjust the taste : sugar, salt and sourness of the salad according to your taste
